Support if you are bereaved
Bereavement is a natural process but it isn't always easy to come to terms with.
Many of us suffer bereavement when we lose someone important to us, as we gradually adjust to the loss. It is natural for us to go through a range of physical and emotional bereavement processes, but it is not always easy to come to terms with the loss.
In the wake of Covid-19, thanks to a grant, we started a Bereavement Group. It meets every 1st Thursday of the month from 11.30am until 1.00pm at the Harmony Centre, St Michaels Estate, Bridport. No referral is necessary – just turn up.
The Bereavement Group fosters wellbeing, reduces isolation and increases knowledge and understanding. Although everyone experiences grief in a different way, peer support and shared experience is very helpful. There is no need for anyone to feel alone with their grief.
Please help us deliver mental health and wellbeing support in Bridport
We rely on donations, partner organisations and fundraising to operate our services. Thank you.
