Current Vacancies - Peer Specialists
We have 3 vacancies for Peer Specialists who have lived experience of mental health concerns.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Peer Specialist working in the Harmony Drop-in and the Bridport Community Front Room. The Peer Specialist will intentionally use their lived experience expertise to support visitors using Recovery focused, brief interventions and activities.
Mindful Photography Group
Harmony's first mindful photography project is born!
Come and join in! It's so relaxing to take time to slow down and notice where we are. Local photographer, Jon North, leads our mindful photography sessions and is getting us out and about with our cameras and phones. We've just had an initial planning session today and decided on a year-long project with an exhibition at the end. A celebration of looking at St Michaels which, we hope, will create a lasting record for the town - a documentation of this historic estate at this moment in time, from our perspectives.

Harmony New Premises
Harmony has moved to larger, more accessible, bespoke premises at St Michael’s Trading, just down the road from the old Assembly Rooms building.
WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this a welcoming, warm and inviting space to deliver our activities and support programmes used by many in our community. We’ve set up a crowdfunding page to raise the extra money needed to develop this community hub.
We are all excited about the move and the opportunities this space will give.

The King's Award for Voluntary Service
The Harmony Centre based in Bridport have been awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an individual receiving an MBE.
Harmony are always keen to welcome new volunteers to our team
