Harmony's Bridport Allotment

Being in the garden is scientifically proven to benefit mental health

Studies have found that the mental health benefits of being out in nature -and gardening in particular - are extensive.

Not only can regular gardening reduce mental health problems like depression and anxiety, but it can also reduce stress and combat high blood pressure, as well as improving overall physical fitness. And of course, nothing tastes better than what you have grown yourself!

Every week in the season, people can come to the Harmony Allotment to get down and dirty while supporting their health and wellbeing. Volunteers join in to share their horticultural knowledge. To find out more, telephone 01308 801154.

Join us for some light gardening in the pleasant surroundings of the Harmony Allotment.
